Mr. Pearce told the Senate that the Government was considering some tangible way of recognising the great effort of Parer and M'ln.tosh in flying to-Aus-tralia.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. The released Industrial Workers of the World prisoners were welcomed at a meeting in the Town Hall. In returning thanks they indicated that their experience of the past four years was nothing to the task ahead in fighting for a solution of the bread and butter problem.
