ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. Masterton, Last Night. William Reid, married, aged about 30, was admitted to the Masterton hospital yesterday with a wound in the neck, self-inflicted with a razor. The injuries 'are not likely to prove fatal. A RABBITER MISSING. Timaru, August 7, Boyd Thomson, a ra'bbiter on Mount Nessing station, is missing. He visited the homestead last Sunday, and left for his hut on the ranges at 1 p.m. on Monday, but he did not reach there. The weather was misty, with snow on the ground. A search party ig out.
