Corlnna, from Dunedin, Saturday. 1 Otarama, from Wellington, early. M'amarl, from United Kingdom, September. AT THE PORT. Thera was no shipping In New Plymouth over the week end. The next arrival will be the Rimu to-morrow. The Mapourika is due the following day, and the Flora Is expected about the middle of the week. THE MATATUA. The Shaw, Sav 111 and Albion Company's steamer, Matatua, en route from Liverpool, arrived at Auckland on Saturday evening. The vessel has explosives to discharge before berthing. MAMARI FROM LONDON. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. advise that the liner Mamari, which loaded at Hull for Wellington and New Plymouth, Is to leave London shortly on the outward trip. THE RIMUTAKA. A radio message was received by the New Zealand Shipping Co. on Friday from the liner Blmutaka en route from Southampton, via Panama, statipg that the vessel would arrive In the stream at Wellington at midnight last night. She will berth to-day. There are 286 passengers on board. The Rlmutaka will put out part cargo at Wellington, and then proceeds to Auckland to put out the remainder. The vessel will then load only at Auckland and Whangaret for London. MANUKA DUE TO-NIGHT. The Manuka left Sydney at 10 o'clock on Thursday night direct for Wellington, where she Is due in the stream this evening. The vessel has 352 passengers. She Is to withdraw next week for an overhaul at Port Chalmers. ' CITY OF CORINTH LEFT NEW YOBK. The A. and A. Line chartered steamer City of Corinth left New York on July 15th., Newport News on July 23rd, and Panama, July 31st. for Auckland, Wellington, and Australian ports. The vessel is due at Auckland about August 24th and Wellington about August 30th. PORT SYDNEY AT MELBOURNE. The C. and D. liner Port Sydney, which loft London on June 19 for Melbourne, (Hobart, Sydney, and New Zealand, via Cape Town, arrived at Melbourne on Friday. She Is due at Auckland on August 27, and after visiting Napier will' come on to Wellington. She should arrive at Wellington on September 4. B.M.S. NIAGARA. The Niagara, from Vancouver, arrived at Suva at 10 p.m. on Thursday, and sailed early on Friday for Auckland. She Is due at Auckland this morning. RUAPEHU LEFT PANAMA. The Ruapelui, en route from SQUthaimpton, arrived at Colon on August 2 and left Panama on August 3rd for Wellington. She is due at Wellington on August 28th. AN AMERICAN COMBINE. New York, August 0. Tho amalgamation of the American-Hawaiian Steamship Company, Livermore, Dearborn and Co., and the Kerr Navigation Company is nounced.The combined fleet, which will be renamed the American Ship and Navigation Corporation will comprise eight ships of 49,000 tons.
