THE FARMERS GO-OP. Organisation society of N.Z. LTD. AUTHORISED CAPITAL ....... £500,000 SUBSCRIBED CAPITAL ....... £153,300 PAID-UP CAPITAL £75,400 GENERAL RESERVE ACCOUNT £2,000 OE! THE 30,000 SHARES OP THE "C" SERIES 15,300 HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED 1 LEAVING 14,700 TET TO BE ALLOTTED. THE DIRECTORS urge upon the FARMERS of TARANAKI to assist their own Organisation by making immediate application for these shares. The shares are of a nominal value of £!<()•, but in the past it has been the policy of the Board to call up to £5 only, and it is their present intention that future calls will be on the same basis. APPLICATION FORMS may be obtained at Head Office, Hawera, and at our Branches and Agencies. £1 per share on application. 10/- per share is payable on allotment. The balance £3 10s is payable in quarterly instalments of 10/per share. ( If desired shares may be paid up to £5 or £lO per share. Immediately a share is allotted the amount paid ufi becomes Interest-bearing. _ For the period ending 31st March, 1920, a dividend of 8 PER CENT on the paid-up capital was declared and has been paid. Shares in the Organisation are for Farmers the BEST INVESTMENT at present offering in Taranaki. During the Organisation's six years of operations the fanners of Taranaki benefited in the way of DIVIDENDS AND BONUSES, Etc., by a sum exceeding £37,000, and owing to the influence of the Organisation the commission on stock is LOWER in Taranaki than in any other part of the Dominion. 1 The following rates are paid by the Organisation on Fixed Deposits:—: 24 months 5J per cent; 12 months 5 per cent; 6 months 6 per cent; interest being payable half-yearly. Owing to the enormous expansion of business we look to the Farmers for support, and urge upon them the necessity of taking further shares, and financially assisting the Organisation to the full extent their means will permit. We are now a force in Taranaki, but remember: "Co-operation ceases to become a force if the individuals of the organisation do not cooperate and act as one." THOMAS TAYLOR, General Manager.
