Lord Curzon (British Foreign Secretary) has informed the Moscow Government that Bolsheviks murdered John Freed, a British subject, during the massacre of Japanese at Nikolaievsk, Siberia, in March, and Britain claims compensation on behalf of the victim's relatives. The battle-cruiser Hood escorted the German battleships Westfalen and Heligoland, and twelve destroyers, into Rosyth, where they surrendered. The members of the New Zealand Olympic team—Miss Walrond, and Messrs. Davidson, Hadfield, and Wilson —arrived by the Euripides at Plymouth m excellent condition.
