FOR CAKES AND PASTRY. AFTERNOON TEA DEARER. ' An increase in the price of pastrycooks' goods will be made in New Ply mouth as from Monday nest, and it it understood that the higher prices will rule throughout Taranaki soon. In addition to these increases the wages in the trade have been increased by several bonuses since last year, and last week was added a rise of 0» per week, with a corresponding increw In the overtime.
