It tells the story of a young man who helps to frustrate a South American intrigue but who waa not proof against the lure of a darkeyed senorita. Tlx Bill includes gazettes and comedy, anc the matinee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m. EVERYBODY'S. "THE MAN WHO TURNED WHITE." H. B. Warner, the: famous English actor, in "The Man Who Turned White," plays the role of kn Arbian desert rider, Ali Zaman, known as the scourge of the Sahara. There ar« some magnificent desert scenes in the production, with wild-riding Bedouins, whirling dervishes, camels, caravans, and a thrilling fight between the desert bandits and French soldiers, ending in the rescue of the girl ac.i 'The Man Who Turned White," and Kijj.'M against Ms own band of cutthroats. Oriental dancing girls in striking costumes of necklace " and breastshields, give some graphic illustrations in a genuine Mohammedan cafe. These scenes are notable for their lavish settings and gorgeous, though scant, costuming. Beautiful Barbara Cast Won plays opposite Mr. Warner, and makes a. splendid foil for that great acior. The screening nignts are to-night ar.d tonurrow at Eve-vbodyV. and on Mmdnv and Tuesday Nat Gould's great sportive drama "A Fortune at Stake/' wi'l be the attraction at this theatre. CESARONI. There will be much satisfaction felt in the announcement that Cesaroni and his artistic array of supporting talent will give another concert in the Empire Theatre on Saturday evening The vocal and instrumental treat which this excellent combination gave earlier in the week has been a matter of general comment, and tile appreciation shown at each concert should augur well for a crowded house 011 Saturday night. Apart from tha merits of Cesaroni, billed as the star of the company, it must be remembered tliat tlx 1 .other artists' arc performers of distinction, and there is an evenness of talent observable which characterises all the companies presented tinder the John Hopkins direction.
