Melbourne, August 4. Referring to the statements made by Dr. Mannix', Mr Hughes said tm\t the Archbishop was leader of the Sinn Fein in Australia, and had abused his position as a priest, to further the most disloyal purpose, namely, to set creed against creed and class against class. Respecting Dr. Mannix's statement that he will reply to Mr Hughes when he returns, Mr Hughes said: "He may, but first of all he has to return."— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
