DROWNED IN WATER-COURSE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Last Night. At the inquest on John Haddock, an Auckland commercial traveller, who disappeared ;i fortnight ago and whose body was found a few days ago, the jury was of opinion that the deceased, whose body was found in a water-course on the side of the road leading from Crofton to Oreatford, met his death on or about July l!i by drowning, but there was no evidence to indicate how the deceased came to <>et into 'the watercourse. The jury added that it was decidedly of opinion that there was no evidence of foul play.
