MAPOtmiKA AT LYTTELTON. * The Mapourlka left Wellington at 1 pjm. yesterday for Lyttelton, where she will load a full general cargo for New Plymouth, arriving here on Monday. FLORA FROM ONEHUNGA. The Flora (1283 tons) Ts eipected to leave Onehunga ahout next Tuesday for New Plymouth. She will load 8200 crates of cheese at this port for transhipment to the Fort Hacking at Wellington. THE ROSAMOND. • If sufficient cargo offers, the Rosamond will load at Wellington for New Plymouth on her ttay to the West Coast. THE KUMARA. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion liner Kuraara la now expected to get away from Wellington to-day for London, via Panama. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company advise that the Manuka is' to sail from Sydney to-day for Wellington. She is due at Wellington on Monday, and trill withdraw for an overhaul at Port Chalmers.

C. AND D. BOATS FROM HOME. The C. and D. Line advise that the steamer Port Victor Is to leave Glasgow or Liverpool on August. 21st for New Zealand ports. The Port Kemhla will be the next C. and D. Lhie steamer to sail from LoAoon, being fixed to leave there on August 25th for Australian and New Zealand ports. THE ULIMAROA. The Huddart-Parker Company's steamer Allmaroa is to loave Sydney on tho. 12' h InSt. for Wellington, whore she is duo on the I6th. The vessel is to sail on the return trip to Sydney on the 19th. MOERAKI FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company's steamer Moerakl arrived at Wellington on Tuesday from Hobsrt and Sydney. The airgo for Wellington Includes transhipments ex Mitsukl Maru, Ormonde, Osterley, Kidderpore, Ventura, San Rossore, Somerset, Naldera, and Tango Mara. ARRIVAL OF THE KARAMEA. The Karamea arrived at Auckland from Avonmouth and Montreal on Saturday morning. She left Avonmouth on May 22, and proceeded to Montreal, where she arrived on June 2. She loaded a largo quantity of merchandise at Montreal, including paper,, iron piping, wire,.canned goods, and motor-cars. On June 22 she took her departure for Panama, which was reached nn June 31. Next day the steamer left for Auckland. During the run from the canal to here a fire was discovered In the bunkers, was w.'.s extinguished before any damage was done. The vessel also had a mishap in the engine-room. Temporary repairs, however, were effected, which enabled the steamer to reach Auckland in fairly good time. Fine weather was -experienced on the trip across the Atlantic Ocean until approaching Cape Race, when the steamer ran into a thick fog. An iceberg had been sighted a few days previously. After leaving Montreal the Karamea met with fine weather until about a week off the New Zealand coast, when she encountered strong south-west winds and heavy seas for several days, thence fine weather until arrival at Auckland. The Karamea will discharge cargo at Auckland, and Wellington. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED. Auckland, August 4 —Whangope, K t 4.40 a.m., from Makatea Island. London, August 3—Remuera, at Southampton, from Wellington. Auckland, August 4.—Kaltuna, at 4.35 a.m., from Lyttelton; Jubilee (schooner), at 7.45 a.m, from Nlue Island. -Newcastle, August 4—Kurow, Kaitangata, Koromlko, Waimarlno, and Tarawera, from New Zealand. Auckland, August 4 —Abemaaia (schooner), at 3 p.m., from Sydney. Manukau Heads. August 4.—Rimu, at 8.20 a.m., from New Plymouth. SAILED. Wellington, August *4.—Paloenu, at 6.50 p.m., for Melbourne.
