WELLINGTON COLLEGE.
THE NEW HEADMASTER. By, Teleeraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At a special meeting of the College Board of Governors to-day, Mr. T. R. Cresswell, M.A., was appointed headmaster of Wellington College in succession to Mr. J. P. Firth, and will take up his duties at the beginning of next year. Mr. Cresswell, who was selected from sixty-four appic&nts for the position, is at present senioi inspector of secondary schools in New Zealand, and has his home in Christehurch. He is 51 years 9f age, and is married.
