CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS.

FULL PENALTY DEMANDED. WHAT THE MAIMED THINK. By TelejTaph.—Press Associ»tion. Wellington, Last Niglit.' The following resolution was passed. unanimously l>y a general meeting of service patients at tlie military hospital at Waipuktirau: "That this meeting of service patients uphold the opinion of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association, who consider all conscientious objectors should serve their full sentence according to law; further, this meeting considers they should be deprived of civil rights, not merely for ten years, but for life." ■ I They state the attitude of certain parties towards conscientious objectors does not meet with their approval, for they are of opinion that had they developed a conscience during the war they would have been much better off today, both physically and financially, instead of having to spend many weary months in hospital, simply because they forgot they had bucli a thing as a conscience.
