Although the attempt to prevent the deportation of Father Jcrger failed, secret negotiations are known to be passing among certain unions as to possible action in the near future. The transport unions conferred with' the Watersiders' Federation and reached a decision regarding future action, which was kept secret.—Aus.-if.Z. Cable Assn.
