WEDDING.
HURRELL—WALKBR. A very pretty wedding: was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Hawera, on June 30, when Evelyn (Pearl), fifth (laughter of Mr. and Airs. T. H. Walker, of Hawera, was married to Albert, only son of Mr. and (Mrs. G. Hurrell, of Hawera. The. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Liveraedge, and Mr. C. Morshcad officiated at the organ. The church was prettily decorated by friends of the bride. The" bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe-de-chiue and georgette, with orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums and asparagus fern. The' bridesmaids, Miss Blanche Walker and Miss Alma Hurrell, wore frocks in pretty shades of apricot and tomato crepe-de-chinc and black georgette and velvet hats, and carried shower bouquets. The bridegroom was supported by Mr. R. Hardley, of Hawera, as best man, and Mr. James Walker as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Islington Tea Rooms, where a happy hour was spent, the usual toasts being proposed and responded to. Later, the happy couple left by motor for the south, amid showers of confetti, and ; the good' wishes of all.
