L. AND IH. REPORT. At Opunake, ou Holiday, we had a fait yarding of all classes of stock, particularly young dairy cattle. Moat of the yarding was sold under the hammer, and we managed to make a total clearance before leaving the yards. We quote: Boners £3 10s, weaner heifers £3 4s 10 £5, steers £2 7s to £3 7s, dairy cows, Jerseys to £2l, others to £l7, heifers £l2 15s to £l6 10s. . On Tuesday, at Mannia, we held our fortnightly sale. Prices at late rates. | At Palmer Road, on Friday, a aood number of young and grown cattle came forward. For store cattle there wa's a keen demand, and wo disposed of the whole yarding at Improved prices. We quote: Tat and forward cows £8 17s 6<l to £lll 17s (Id, medium ditto £6 5s to £S ss, others to £fi 2s 6d, empty heifers to £R Ss, 20-nionr.h steers £5 Is, weaner heifers (good quality and condition) £6, to £4 4s. hesl dalrv cows £26 10s, others to £l7 IDs, heifers £» 15s to £l7 ins.
