[ Arbitrators were appointed to deal with renewals of leases of Education Reserves, held by the following lessees: Taranaki Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, E. V. Breach, L. G. Andrews, G. Jennings, S. Pitt, G. Hurrell, R. Aroa, B. Dive, H. Kneebone, Trustees J. Marshall (deceased). A report- was received from the rakger on re-offering section 2, block V., Pouatu, and it was resolved to defer consideration. It was resolved to allot sections 6 and 9, block X, and sections 1 and 4, block XI„ Aria township, to the Aria Saleyards Company, Ltd. The arbitrator's report on lots sa, sb, and C of section W, Town Belt of New Plymouth, was received. An arbitrator was appointed to deal with renewal of West Coast settlement lease of sub. 13,-Ngatitera Block. Proposals for the expenditure of thirds >by the Olmra County Council were approved. An application by W. H. Bates for section 9, block 1., Pahi, was refused. I , A lease for 21 years with right of reI'newal was granted to H. G. Gibson over section 3fi, block XV., Ngaire. Of the applications fpr loans under the Discharged Soldiers' Acts, eleven applications for houses were granted, and four refused; fourteen applications for farms were approved, ten refused, and four deferred; two applications to difdiarge mortgages were granted; nine applications for building grants were approved, one refused, and one deferred; thirteen applications for loans for stock were approved and one refused; five applications for transfers of soldiers' interests were recommended. for approval and one deferred; two applications to subdivide holdings were recommended for approval.
