FEAR OF HOLY WAR. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Paris, July 30. The Chicago Tribune states that as the result of the French action in Syria it is feared that the Arabs will proclaim a holy war. The downfall of Feisul at Damascus may be the precursor of an alliance between Feisul and Kemal. It is reported that the King of Hedjaz has promised to support his son if Britain does not compel France to repudiate General Gourand's action.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
