ARBITRATION COURT.
TYPOGRAPHICAL DISPUTE. By Telegraph.—Press Association.. Wellington, Last Night. Wages and conditions of work in certain branches of the printing trade wore under consideration by the Arbitration Court in a. dispute between the New Ze?,, land Federated Typographical Association and various employers in the trade. The chief points in dispute are rates of jiiecework for machines, general conditions as to piecework, and weekly wages for machine and hand work. The claims for piecework for machines arc for a maximum rate of 5%d per thousand ens solid up to six point; s£, up to eight point; 6|d up to nine point; 6d up to ten point; night operators one-tenth extra.
