THE MANAWATU MATCH. On Thursday, the Taranakl renresentatlve fifteen will take the field for the seventh time this season. On this occasion the venue will be Stratford, and their opponents will be Mannwatu. The Taranaki team will not be picked until after to-day's match at Patea, but it is practically rertaln there will be some alterations as compared with tho team that met Hawke's Bay. It is understood that S. Cameron has recovered from the accident that he met with at Hamilton, and will be nt to take the Hold on Thursday. This will greatly strengthen tho Taranakl'attack, which ijo far has been m-ery disappointing. Of the Tux matches so far played, 'faranakl has been "ictonou* in the two against Wanganui. drawn one. and lost three. It is confidently expected that their record will show considerable improvement. The match against Manawatu should prove Interesting, as Manawatu is said to possess a really strong combination, and should fully extend Taranaki. TARANAKI B. v. WAIROA SUB-UNION.
