A splendid duel was witness..;: setween Carslake and Donoghue in the St. George's Stakes on the sprinters Tetratema. and Diadem. Tetr.itema ras a length ahead coming over the hill. Diadem reached his withers a furlong from home, but Carslake drew out a bit more and won a grand match by three-quarters of a length.
