PRINCE IN AUSTRALIA.

QUIET RECEPTION IN QUEENSLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 26, 9.20 p.m. Sydney, July 20. The Prince has arrived at Wallangarra, on the Queensland border, where he was formally welcomed by the Lieuten-ant-Governor and Mr. Fihelly, Secretary for Railways. The reception was ominously quiet, the demeanor of the crowd furnishing a remarkable contrast to the welcomes in other States. This was the only occasion on which His Royal Highness was not cheered, probably due to the fact that only officials were present, the reception by soldiers and the children's disjplay being postponed until the Prine's return next week. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
