The Franco-British oil agreement provides that in ltoumania, two Governments will support their respective nationals with the view of the acquisition of former German oil interests and other concessions, all shares in the former being halt' French and half British. in Russia the two Governments support their respective nationals in acquiring concessions. in Mesopotamia, France is to receive 25 per cent, of the shares in private companies. The agreement also provides for the reconstruction of the pipe lines and railways for the transportation g>f oil through the French sphere to the Mediterranean. In North Africa and other French colonies France will give facilities to Fran-co-British groups, Britain giving corresponding advantages in the British Crown colonies.—Reuter.
