He then returned to the bedroom,' where he ivas found dying in the morning. No one heard the shot, which apparently was fired at midnight.

Prince Joachim suffered from a complete nervous breakdown and lia3 collaysed mentally. He was obsessed by fears regarding the outcome of the revolution, and believed that the Government intended to turn him out of the house. His eccentricities completely broke up his conjugal life.
