MOTOR TAX PROPOSED.
REVENUE FOR MAIN ROADS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Amongst the Ministerial answers to questions in the House of Representatives this afternoon was the following: "That the Government is eonsideling the imposition of a special tax on all motor tyres, the money so produced to be earmarked and paid over to local bodies to be used for the upkeep of main road^"
