Mr. John Hale, of Mangorei, lost the valuable cow, Jersey Bank Sylph, the other day. This cow under 'semi-official test, produced 449.94 tbs. of butter-fat-In 217- days, A heifer. Lady Superior, belonging to the same herd, produced 680.33 lbs. in the 36S days, whilst Lambert Countess, an eight-year-old cow, produced MSAO lbs. in 325 days—petty good results, upon which Mr. Hale Is to be congratulated.
