The Cotinna, which arrived at 8.30 on Saturday morning from Nelson, was unable to berth as all available space was taken up by the other vessels in port, but In the evening she took the berth vacated by the Rosamond, which went to Greymouth. KUMARA SAILING TO-DAY. The S.S. and A. liner Kumara will sail for the Waitara roadstead to-day at noon. STEAMER FROM CALCUTTA. The British-India steamer Canara is fixed, to load at Calcutta at the end of July far New Zealand ports, sailing at the middle of August, via Singapore and Java. CONGESTION AT NEWCASTLE. Many ships are In port at Newcastle awaiting coal cargoes, the output being unequal to the demand. New Zealand's tonnage for lite past week approximates 10,000.
