BUSY AT THE PORT.
ANOTHER OVERSEAS VESSEL DUE TO-DAY. A particularly busy week-end was a*perienced at the port of New Plymouth. On Saturday there were five vessels alongside the wharf, and one waiting >n the stream until a berth was available. The liner Kumara was loading product for England, two sailing vessels were discharging benzine from San Francisco, the Rosamond was unloading produce from the south, and the Rimu was in from Onehunga. The Rimu sailed in the afternoon, and in the waning the Rosamond got away. Her berth wai taken by the Corinna, leaving four vessels alongside yesterday. The Kumara saih for Waiitara about noon to-day, and her berth will be takes* by the Donald McKay, from New York. with benzine. The Donald McKay left Wellington on Saturday, but put bajk to port, leaving again about seven o'clock last night. This week will sm further activity at the port, for in ao> dition to the Rimu, two steamers art due from the South. • '■■■■
