MANAIA CLUB'S MEETING. The annual meeting of the Manila Bowling Club w«S held on Monday night, Mr. 0. D. Gee presiding. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr. A. Franklin: president, Mr. F. McCarthy; vice-president, Mr. N. Innis; honorary secretary, Mr. N. Innis; honorary auditor, Mr. V. H, Hobday; ground committee, Messrs. Franklin and Chesnall; general committee, Messrs K. Badland, A. Andrews, F. Chesnall, J. Christie, T. Armitage, A. Smith; match committee, Messrs. ,Armitnge, Franklin and 3. Christie; selector, Mr. A. H. Christie. The subscription was fixed at £3 3s reducible to £2 12s 6d It paid by December 3ls, Offers of trophies tiy Messrs. Franklin, Bennett, ■ and the president were accepted with thanks. Mr, Badiand proved to be the successful last year's colt, thus winning Mr, Bennett's pair of bowls.—Star.
