NOTE.—Our agent has inspected the above herd and reports that it comprises about two-thirds well-bred Jerseys, with the balance Holsteins and Shorthorns. They are very forward in calf and in tip-top condition, having been on turnips and hay for the past six weeks. The heifers are well-bred grade Jerseys, well-grown, and in good condition. For the pa3t four years individual tests have been taken of thj herd, and these, together with the datas of calving, will be announced at the sals. Messrs. Luxton Bros have been dairying for ithe last sixteen years, and this is the first sale held by them in that time. Most of the cattle are their own breeding.
