No High School matches this week. THE NORTHERN TOUR. The Taranki team to play South Auckland at Hamilton to-tniorrow aild Auckland on Saturday leaves by the mail train this morning. R. Oliver is unable to go to-day, but will probably be able to go north in time for the Auckland match.
At Wellington, on Saturday, Athletic (8) defeated University (fl); Petone (29) v. Wellington (0). "The scores in tfie three test matches played t-etween the English and Australian Rugby League were: Firsi teat, Australia S, • England 4; second test, Australia 21, England 8; third test, England' 23, Australia 13. Total points: Australia 41 points, England 33 points STRATHMORE v. WHANGAMOMONA. The annual match between Strathmore and Whangainomona, for the Dean Cup, was played at Strathmore on Saturday. The conditions stimulated tl.nt the players must have been residents of the respective districts, and there was a fair attendance of interested spectators. The match resulted In a win for Strathmore by six points (a penajty goal and try by, McCullough) to 5 (n try scored by Coxhead I and conveted by Kerr), .Mr. T. Wilson, oil Stratford, was the referee.
