HAWERA GUN CLUB.
Great Interest was 'taken in the Hawcr* Gun, Club's shoot on Wednesday, and the largo number of spectators who attended were well regarded, as the contest for the Open Handicap, was well worth going a long way to see. P. Whittle (Stratrord) shot exceptionally well, taking first and second money, Coleman. Gunderson and Green tied for third, and divided. A sweepstake followed the big match and another keen contest was witnessed, the winner turning up in H. Harrison, with F. Whittle runner-up.
