I The N.Z. loan nnd Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. (Stratford), report a3 follows: On Friday, 2nd July, we held our monthly sale at Tnrata. There was a good yarding, and all ewes yarded were sold, with the exception of some weaner and 20-month steers. The prices realised were: Lambs, 15s to 20s lOd; f.m. empty ewes 17s 4d; f.m. ewes, in lamb, 13s to 17s; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 30s; weaner steers, 335; heifers, £3 Is to £4; E. heifers, £4. 19s; 20-month steerSj £3 to £5; E. lieifers, £6 10s; dairy cows, £l7. On June 30th we held a clearing sale on account of Mr. Jas. Pierce, Flint Itoad. There was a good attendance of buyers, and both implemonts and stock sold well. IStock sold realised the following prices: Weaner heifers, £4 10s to £7 r>s (Jerseys); I.e. heifers, £lO 15s to £lB 10s; pigs, sows, £3 15s to £5 10s; stores. 39s to £2 bs. Private Sales—Lambs, 21s to 20s; 2 nnd 4tooth wethers. 30s; I.C. heifers, £l3 to £ls; dairy cowa, £22 10s to £25; cows, in milk, £IT 10s; yearling heifers £4 8»! weanei steers, 27s SO.
