WEDDING.
THOMPSON-SULLIVAN. A* pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Joseph's Church, Stratford, on Wednesday, June 30, the contracting parties being Miss Catherine, youngest daughter of Mr. J. Sullivan, of -Waimate, and Mr. Vincent Thompson, o'f Toko, and late of Eltham. The Rev. Father Maples officiated. The bride wore a white crepe da chine frock, with the usual veil and wreath of orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful bouquet. The bridesmaids were Miss Nancy Sullivan, sister of the bride, and Miss Dorothy Thompson, sister ,of the bridegroom, who wore pink crepe de chine frocks with black hata to match. Mr. Ned Corbett acted a s best man, and Mr. T. Thompson as groomsman. After the ceremdny, about 40 guests adjourned to Smith's tea rooms, where the wedding breakfast was held, the usual toasts being honored. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson afterwards left on their honeymoon, and on their return will settle in the Huiroa district, where Mr. Thompson has purchased a farm,
