SYDNEY SHEEP SALES.
NEW ZEALAND TRANSACTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, July 6. The sheep sales were largely attended. The demand for Merinos was strong and prices generally were ahead of those of last year. Long wools were in less active demand. New Zealand consignments of Corriedales, on behalf of Messrs. Donald Grant and E. H. En3or, ranged from Sto 50 guineas. Other New Zealand lots, comprising Bomney Marsh, Lelcesters, and Llncolns, made 4% to 22VJ guineas.
Mr. Rutherford paid 60 and 65 guineas for two Merino rams, and Mr. 1. Bell paid 60 guineas.—AU3.-N.Z. Cable Asns.
