THE SCHOOLS MATCH. A great deal of interest Is being manifested in the match between Wanganul College and New Plymouth High School at Hawera on Saturday. The Taranaki boys last year by defeating Auckland Graanroar secured the secondary schools premiership of the Dominion, and this year they have another good team. Unfortunately, three or four of the best players are down with Illness or suffering from "football knees." Osborne, the captain, is among the former. He is a n tower of strength to the team, and it Is hoped he will be at for Saturday. Wanganul College have always been able to put a good team In the field, and play a scientific, open and interesting game. The teams are well matched, and a good, clean exposition of the game may confidently bo looked forward to. A special train will leave New Plymouth for Hawera at 7.51 a.m. on Saturday, and between 300 and 400 rf High School hoys will be passengers.
