WAR CRIMINALS.
TRIAL TO BE PRESSED FOR. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 4, 5.5 p.m. London, July 2. In the House of Commons, replying to Mr. Bottomley, Mr. Bonar Law stated that the German submarine commanders whose names were published by the Admiralty in September, 1918, as war prisoners, had been released, except one accused .of a grave violation of the rules of warfare, who would be detained <n England until the Government was satisfied that he'would be tried. Mr. Bonar Law told Lord Curzon that the Government intended to raise, at the Spa Conference, the question of pressing the German Government immediately to proceed with the trial of war criminals —Aus.-N.Z- Cable Assn.
