The New Zealand Cricket Council has cabled to the High Commissioner asking him to interview Lord Hawke with a view to arranging a vlllt of an English amateur team to New Zealand In the coming season under Jessop. It Is hoped a visit will be arranged as the English team to tour Australia cannot visit New Zealand, and an Australian teaun cannot come across. If no English team Is available negotiations will be opened for a South African visit.
