THE TARANAKI PROPOSAL. SUPPORTED BY OtIPTON COUNTY The proposal to form an electric powa district for Taranaki is gradually tak ing shape, and has been advanced a fui ther stage. Cr. Jones agreed that Taranaki jnhst look for a supply of its own, and not rely on the Government supply. Iff was unanimously agreed to contribute the council's quota of the amount necessary, '
