The Commonwealth Bank has increased the rate of Interest from 3 to 3% per cent, on balances reaching £IOOO and 3 per cent, on an' additional £3OOO. AN AUSTRALIAN LOAN. Melbourne, July 1. The Commonwealth is shortly floating a loan, probably of 20 millions, It may bear Interest at 0 per cent. The loan funds are exhausted, 20 millions having been spent since January.
