The recent rains have greatly improved ■ the crop and the pastoral outlook gen- 1 erally. [ The heavy downpours throughout the Sta.tf have definitely broken the drought conditions of the past two j years. Furthermore, remarkably mild j temperatures have prerailad throughout, ensuring a quick growth of herbage with a minimum damaiga of stock. More general rain is expected.
