BIG FREISIAN SALE. An important dispersal sale of Frieslan dairy cattle will take place at Mata Mata, Walkato, on Thursday and Friday, July 8 and 9, when the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company will sell on behalf of Mr. P. Qulnlan, "Edlngwood," Talhoa, the well-known "Edlngwood" her'V The sale will commence at 1130 a.m. and the following will be offered: 300 head of pedigree and grade Frieslans, 29 pedigree cows and heifers, 8 pedigree calves, 9 pedigree bulls, 60 grade Friestan heifer calves and 180 cows and heifers (two whole dairies). Catalogues of the sale may be obtained from the Farmers" Co-op. Auctioneering Company at Hamilton and branches. OAKLAND PARK FRIESIAN SALE. GOOD AVERAGE PRICES. The Farmers' Co-op. Organisation Society of New Zealand, Ltd., conducted the above sale on behalf of Mr. C. A. Clarke, at Tokaora on Monday. The weather was fine and there waß a good attendance of buyers from all parts of Taranaki, the districts of Fielding and Wanganul also being represented. Bidding was very brisk, the prices realised bclny as follows; Wlllowvale Parthena, by Parthemt Alcartra Pietertie—Alcatra Rozlnc Pietertje, born April, 1916 J. O'Shea (Ohangai), 82 gns. Parthena Rozine Segls .by Rozino Segis 111. —WUlowvale Parthena, heifer, born August, 1918.—Waterson Bros. (Felldlng), 50 gns. Rozine Segls, by Rozino Segls 111, —Miss Oakland, heifer, born August, 1918. Wilson and Buckley (Ararata), 55 gns. Pauline Segis de Kol, by Raaotu Fayne Segls—Lady fie Kol Pauline, heifer, born Aug. 1918— J. Donald (Wcstmere), 60 gns. Rozine Segls HI., by King Fayne Segis— Lsdy Rozine, bull, born August, 1919.—Hugh MdCann (Opunake), 20 gns. Ideal Prince, by Ideal King—Magpie lassie of Ashlyn, bull, born August, 1918.—Thomas Struthers (Hawera), 40 gns. King of Oaklands, by Rozine Segis lll.—Wlllowvale Parthena, bull, born August, 1919. — A. C. Pease (Mangatokl), 12 gns. The grade Frieslans were in excellent demand, prices ranging from £l7 to £40,. the average for 28 cows being £27 6s 6d; the grade tvo-year heifers ranged from £l7 to £26, and the yearling heifers £7 ss. —' ' "
