However, I have drawn public utcntlon to the matter, and it in tho future lie racing club "boots" the followers of footiall, cricket, tennis, golf, hockey, etc., out nto the wilderness, by virtue of the powers in-rendered by the Borough Council, well and :ood—l am, etc:, SPORT. [Wc thought we had made It clear that the ockey club cannot "boot" out any sports lub. It .can only prevent it from erecting uildinpa on the ground. The Council has urrendered nothing. Any powers properly elont'iug to It were "surrendered' unauy years go by the Government.—Ed.]
