On the resumption of Mr. Justice Swing's inquiry into the circumstances of the imprisonment of twelve Industrial Workers of the World, the prisonws drew a great crowd at the court, many hundred* being unable to gain ad- ' mtttance.—Aus.-N-Z. Cable Assn. Twelve members of the Industrial . Workers of the World were sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from i five to fifteen years on charegs of conspiracy in connection with a number of IfaMß which occurred in Sydney. The names of the prisoners are:—Charles ' Reeve (30), native of England; Thomas . Glynn (35); Ireland; Peter Larkin (45), : Ireland; John Hamilton (42), Victoria; fiernard Besant (25), England; Donald McPheMOn (29), Scotland; William Teen (80), fjumania; William Beatty (30), England; Morris Joseph Fagin (40), Russia; Donald Grant (27), Scotland; Thomas Moore (34), New Zealand; John Benjamin King (40), Canada. Mr. 'Justice Ewing is to review old and ' teew evidence, and decide whether the eonvictioM are to be sustained or whetker the sentences are excessive.
