DANGER OF THE. SOVIET. KQ BOLSHEVIK WITHDRAWAL.. By Assn.—Copyright. Received June 25, 9.10 p.m. Delhi, June 24. Advices from Teheran state that Kutcsik Khan, the self-styled head of the Persian Soviet Republic, who burned the Cossack barraccs at Resht, capturing eight hundred Fersmn Cossacks, has made an agreement with the Uolshevika to support him as President of the Soviet Republic of all Persia. He promises to give the Bolsheviks liberty of action on Persian soil against the Allies. In the meantime the Bolsheviks are issuing reassuring state* ments. A Moscow Note informed the Persian government that the Bolshevik troops were withdrawn, but in spite of i this Bolshevik forces occupy Resht, Enteli, and Astara.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable A9sn. PERSIAN HINTERLAND. REDS AND TARTARS QUARREL. Constantinople, June 24. The Azerbaijan situation has taken a new turn, owing to the violence of the Reds. Entering Elistabetpol they indulged in "a carnival of murder, rape, plunder and incendiariam, massacring 15,000 Moslems. In cousequence the Tartars are rising against the Reds, who have arrested the leaders. —Times Service. [Elizahstpol is a town of about 33,000 Inhabitants, lying between the Black and Caspian Seas.]
