THE NATIONAL BANK.
A SOUND posraoisr. • By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd., has received a cable message from- his London Board advising that the annual meeting of the bank will be held in London on Julv 7, when it is proposed to declare a dividend of 6 per cent, for the half-year, and a bonus to shareholders of 2* per cent, on the paid-up capital, equalling 14 per cent, for the year ended March 31 last. A sum of £30,000 has been allocated in the reduction of the bank premises account, and £20,000 has been add°d to the Teserve fund, which will then stand at £1,020,000, and £69,500 has been carried forward.
