Gratification will be felt by all New Zealand ex-mombers of the Imperial v?- m f i Corps at the news tbat Barl, vvinterton, second in command of the battalion, has informed Major H, C. Hemphill that the British Commissioner of Works has sanctioned tie erection of a statue in Victoria Gardens, Westminster, as a memorial to those brigade members who lost their lives in Palestine. The statue will take the form of a mounted camel man, with plaques on the sides representative of the different units, including the Anzacs.
