GREAT DAMAGE INT FRANCS. London, May 26. The most severe storm in the memory of the living visited the Department of Oise, France. The Celle wag fi*.ided, and the work of restoration to damaged property interrupted. Several houses were swept away and the roofs of houses were smashed. The hail killed animals aiu! injured people. The correspondent of the Tiroes at Paris states that the cyclone caused damage to the extent 0f.£100,000 to the railways, buildings, and crops. It nearly wiped out the village of . Fontains-Bonneleau, and several communes were covered with' hail to a depth of from 12in. to 24in.
