EX-KAISER IN PERIL

According to the Paris Tribune, it is reported that a German crossed the frontier, climbed a wall, and fired several shots at the Kaiser. Another story is to the effect that a disguised Belgian laborer, on the pretext of repairing water-pipes, concealed himself in a corridor and battered the Kaiser with a club until guards rescued him. The Kaiser's secretary declines to admit the truth of the stories. The Express states that the Geneva police discovered a plot by Hungarian Communists to assassinate all the chief members of the House of Hapsburg.— United Service.
