The French lightweight boi-er Eugene Voaire, who recently fought Havllah Uren, at Wellington, met Harry Holmes, of Australia, on hatttrday night in a fifteen-round contest for a purse of £3OO. It wn3 one or the best fights yet seen on the West Coast, and alter going the full journey, the verdict was awarded to Volaire on points.
