The weather was fine until before the fourth race, when rain commenced to fall, and continued till Just before the last event.' Tho totallsator handled £23,850, making a total of £45,043 for the meeting—an increase of £9OB. Results:— MEANEE HACK HANDICAP.—Sanacre (H. Robinson) 1, Yankee Dan 2, Magistrate 3. Also started: Ngata, Waterform, Mumble, Fife and Drum, Piro Piro, Mias Giron, Indleness, Princess Charming, Master Orlffamme, Pretty Mikl, Negambo. Yankee Dan was first out and led into the straight, where Sanacre came through and won easily by :i length. Piro Piro was fourth. Time, 1.17 4-5. WAIOHIKI HACK HURDLE,?.—Marshal Neil (W. DlHamore) 1, Pretty Bebfoy 2, Raumanuwljlri 3. Also started: Ladoguer, Sir Agnes, Strangeways, Ethiopian, Sensitive, King Albert, Banogue, Miss Decurtonie, Cora, Rattle, Sir Agnes and Raumanuvvhiri were first away. Miss Decurtonie ran oft at thrt first hurdle, Ladoguer at the second, and Banogue and Ethiopian fell at the hack. At the last hurdle King Albert fell heavily, The riders of Banogue and Ethiopian were Injured. Won by four lengths, half a length between second and third. Strangeways was fourth. Harbor Light caught up across the hack, and after clearing the last fence challenged the leader, but fell short by a length. Guanaco was half a dozen lengths away.
